KALE is a money management application targeted toward young adults ages 18-25. I first started by researching the needs of the targeted demographic, detailing the needs of the potential user and finding solutions. After creating the skeleton of the application, I dove into user interface, focusing on a friendly and trustworthy look and feel.
Young adults, ages 18-25, need an application that will help them easily manage complicated, often intimidating data as they begin to learn money management.
Kale is a money management application that utilizes five different types of data visualizations that will be present on the home page dashboard. The application offers the user a friendly and welcoming experience through visualizations that allow the user to easily glance at all relevant information, pinpointing aspects in their finances that are most important. Through easy to read visualizations, a user will be able to cut down on their time trying to understand dense amounts of data and information.

USER INTERFACE Strategy
As a new money management application targeted toward 18-25 year olds, I wanted to make Kale as approachable, friendly, and trustworthy as possible.
With a mix of vibrant greens, blues and a pop of salmon pink, Kale offers a friendly interface that would allow the user to feel at ease when they are using the application, which is particularly important as the user deals with money.
The interface also demonstrates professionalism through the color palette, textures, and shapes. As a money management application, it is important for Kale to be not only be welcoming but to also communicate trustworthiness.
